During the final days of the 2025-2026 snow season,  Jiangjun Mountain Ski Resort in Altay held a creative Water Skiing Festival, where skiers raced down slopes and slid across a 35-meter water slide, blending snow and spray. A beginner-friendly track with a gentle slope was also introduced, making the experience safe and accessible. The seasonal event has become a tradition, boosting spring tourism and revitalizing the region's ice and snow resources. By season's end, the resort welcomed 1.3 million tourists, a 46% year-on-year increase, with the number of skiers rising 66% to 870,000.
