Eugene German poured in a game-high 36 points to fuel a second-half rally, as the Beijing Ducks battled from behind to beat the Nanjing Monkey Kings 106-92 at home on Monday in the Chinese Basketball Association. Chen Ying-Chun added 26 points and captain Zhai Xiaochuan drilled a critical late three-pointer to seal back-to-back wins for the hosts, who sit fifth in the standings with a 23-12 record.

Beijing held a 25-22 lead after the first quarter, with German scoring 14 early points. Nanjing turned the tide in the second period behind Guo Haowen, who tied the game with a three-point play and later converted another to put the visitors ahead by four. The Monkey Kings maintained their momentum in the third quarter, as Guo's floater over Zhou Qi stretched the lead to 14.

German responded with consecutive three-pointers to trim the deficit to eight, before Chen's triple drew the Ducks within three. German nailed his fourth three of the quarter to put the hosts in front by two, before Chen added another to extend their edge to eight. The pair linked up later in the period, with Chen dishing to German inside to put Beijing ahead 87-81. Zhai's late triple iced the contest, as the Ducks closed out a 14-point triumph.

Meanwhile, in Urumqi, the visiting Shenzhen Leopards edged the Xinjiang Flying Tigers 102-97. The triumph pushed the road team's winning streak to 10 games, matching a club record. He Xining scored a game-high 32 points to lead Shenzhen, with Terquavion Smith's late layup sealing the victory.
