Iran has warned the US that it will retaliate against any attacks on its national infrastructure on April 5. The statement comes after US President Donald Trump threatened via a Truth Social post on Easter Sunday to attack bridges and power plants if Iran does not open the Straight of Hormuz.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson also added that such attacks would constitute "crimes against humanity" and reiterated that protests in the US are an indication that the American public understands that "this is not their war."
