The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement on the morning of August 8 local time, saying that Israel supports Trump’s decision to impose a two-week ceasefire on Iran, as well as the US efforts to ensure that Iran no longer poses a threat. This ceasefire does not apply to Lebanon.
