Israel carried out what it described as the largest wave of air strikes in the Iran conflict to date across Lebanon on Wednesday, with officials saying the war against Hezbollah continues despite a ceasefire coming into effect the same day.
Wednesday's attacks killed at least 254 people and injured 1,165 others in Lebanon, with densely populated neighborhoods in the capital, Beirut, among the hardest hit, according to the Lebanese Civil Defense.
