The US delegation led by Vice President JD Vance has arrived in Islamabad for peace talks with Iran. The delegation is joined by Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, according to reports.

The Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, is scheduled to negotiate with the US delegation on Saturday on a possible peace plan.

The US and Iranian delegations will hold separate meetings with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ahead of ceasefire talks between the two sides on Saturday afternoon, Iran's Tasnim news agency reports.
