Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Kim Jong Un, president of the state affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), in Pyongyang on Friday during his April 9–10 visit. During the trip, Wang also held talks with DPRK Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, emphasizing China's readiness to deepen strategic communication, expand practical cooperation and work jointly with the DPRK to promote regional peace and development.
