Peonies in Pengzhou, Sichuan Province are now in full bloom. With peonies cultivated at altitudes ranging from 500 to 1,800 meters, they bloom in succession due to vertical temperature differences, resulting in an extended flowering season. 

During peony season, Pengzhou launches peony-themed feasts and peony-shaped sugar paintings, offering visitors unique flavors and a visual feast. Mild-tasting peony petals with light bitterness are introduced into dishes, producing over 40 innovative offerings such as peony-flavored pastries and dumplings. Traditional dishes such as fried fish fillets and hot pot ingredients are crafted into peony shapes, bringing visitors delightful visual enjoyment.
