US delegates led by Vice President JD Vance arrived in Pakistan on Saturday morning for talks with Iran, according to sources.
The US team also includes US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who are in a separate plane landing at the Nur Khan airbase.
The Iranian delegation led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf arrived early Saturday for talks with the United States to end the hostilities in the Middle East. However, distrust between the two adversaries still shadows their peace talks scheduled for later on the day.
