The Ukrainian armed forces have violated the Easter ceasefire 1,971 times since Saturday, when an Easter truce was agreed until 8 a.m. local time on Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

Ukraine's military said ‌that Russian forces have ‌broken ‌the Easter ‌ceasefire 2,299 times since ‌4 p.m. on Saturday, adding that the ceasefire breaches included 479 instances of shelling and more ‌than 1,700 drone strikes.

All troops in the Special Military Operation zone have strictly observed the ceasefire regime from 4 p.m. Moscow time on April 11, Tass news agency reported, citing the defense ministry.
