The King Pro League (KPL) Spring 2026 Finals wrapped up in Haikou, south China's Hainan Province. This event marks a new starting point for the league's next decade. During an interview with CGTN, Huang Cheng, head of King Pro League at Honor of Kings Esports, mentioned Haikou's strong support for hosting the tournament and related events, with favorable policies on flights, hotels, dining and various promotional activities. He noted that this robust backing reflects the city's efforts to integrate esports into its local economy following the implementation of the customs clearance policy.

According to Huang, as KPL enters its new decade, the league plans to further blend online and offline experiences, deepen ties with local culture and tourism, and create more reasons for fans to "travel for a match."
