Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez is making his fourth trip to China from April 11 to April 15, his fourth visit in four years. CGTN stringer in Madrid interviewed residents to learn their expectations for the visit and their views on Spain's role in China–EU relations.
Several interviewees expressed optimism about future cooperation. A student named Camilo noted that Spain could act as a good intermediary within the broader context of global issues. He said Spain holds an important position in the diplomatic arena and could serve as a bridge between China and other partners, paving the way for future achievements.
