Carlson said Trump realized almost immediately it was a mistake, adding that "once you're in a war like that, it's very hard to get out." He also stressed that international conflict should not be directed at a whole civilization or religion. "Declaring war on any civilization is not something we should ever do. That's just immoral," he noted.
