A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Wednesday said China and the United States have maintained communication regarding US President Donald Trump's visit to China.

Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a regular press briefing in response to US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's recent remarks on China.

Guo said that China has repeatedly stated its solemn position regarding the situation in Iran.
