Bayern Munich produced a stunning 4-3 comeback win at home against Real Madrid in the second leg of a UEFA Champions League quarterfinal showdown on Wednesday, clinching a 6-4 aggregate victory to advance to the last four.

Luis Diaz struck in the 89th minute and Michael Olise added another goal in stoppage time to complete the turnaround for the hosts, who will face reigning titleholders Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals.

A pulsating first half saw Real take the lead three times, with Arda Guler pouncing on a terrible mistake by Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer in the first minute, before whipping a free kick into the top corner in the 29th after the German club had leveled through Aleksandar Pavlovic's header.

Harry Kane brought the hosts, 2-1 winners in the first leg in Spain, level with his 12th goal in the competition this season.

The visitors hit the woodwork through Vinicius Jr., who later contributed a perfect assist in the 42nd minute, setting up Kylian Mbappe to make it 3-2.

Real were reduced to 10 men in the 86th minute after substitute Eduardo Camavinga earned his second booking, for holding on to the ball after a foul, and Bayern took full advantage.

The victory extended Bayern's unbeaten run to 16 matches in all competitions.

"It was a great night for the club," said Bayern coach Vincent Kompany. "We showed absolute belief and will to fight our way back."

Arsenal scrape past Sporting CP to reach Champions League semifinals

Meanwhile, Arsenal edged past Sporting CP after a 0-0 home draw, sealing a 1-0 aggregate win to reach the semifinals for the second straight season.

Mikel Arteta's men held onto the lead they were staked to by Kai Havertz's stoppage-time winner in Lisbon last week. Sporting nearly went ahead shortly before halftime in the second leg, when Geny Catamo's volley clipped the outside of the post.

Arsenal substitute Leandro Trossard also struck the woodwork, before the Gunners kept their eighth clean sheet in 12 Champions League games this season.

Bayern Munich will travel to PSG for the first leg of their semifinal meeting on April 29, with the return fixture set for May 6. Arsenal will visit Atletico Madrid on April 30, before hosting the second leg in London on May 7.
