A rare Francois' langur infant has been spotted in Dashahe Nature Reserve in southwest China's Guizhou Province. Born with golden fur, the newborn contrasts sharply with its black-coated mother – earning the nickname "Golden Baby." Listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, the species has around 2,100 individuals globally, with over half in Guizhou. The infant is healthy and growing well, marking another positive sign of improving habitats and stable population recovery.
