Two Chinese nationals were killed and over 10 others were injured after a tour bus carrying over 40 Chinese citizens overturned in Russia's Zabaykalsky Krai region, according to the Chinese Consulate General in Irkutsk.

Fourteen Chinese nationals injured in the traffic accident have returned to China for treatment, a China Media Group reporter learned from a hospital in bordering north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Consular officials have been dispatched to assist with the aftermath and are coordinating with Russian authorities to help the injured.
