30,000 migratory birds arrive at Ebinur Lake in NW China as breeding season begins

At Ebinur Lake in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, migration season is peaking, with over 30,000 birds gathering to breed. Egrets and swans are nesting in the reeds, while some species settle here year-round. To support them, workers have built artificial nests on transmission towers and plan to brightly paint pylons to reduce collisions, helping create a safer environment for birds to migrate and raise their young.
