Since the beginning of this year, from offshore wind power clusters to massive wind and solar bases in the Gobi and other desert regions, China's clean power bases have been accelerating construction.

To date, China's installed solar power capacity has exceeded 1.23 billion kilowatts, and wind power capacity has surpassed 650 million kilowatts. Together, they account for nearly half of the country's total installed capacity. According to reports, 1 out of every 3 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity consumed in China is now clean power.

During the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), China will vigorously develop future-oriented energy sources such as hydrogen and controlled nuclear fusion. By 2030, approximately 1 out of every 2 kWh of electricity consumed will come from non-fossil energy sources.
