Mozambique's President Daniel Chapo arrived in Beijing on Monday. At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chapo is paying a state visit to China from April 16 to 22.

Beijing is the third stop of his China trip. Chapo said the visit has "a focus on development," with the objective is to strengthen partnerships in the areas of energy, industry and innovation.
