China says it firmly upholds the authority and effectiveness of the Treaty of Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, also known as the NPT. The foreign ministry says the Chinese government has submitted a national report of its implementation of the Treaty. It comes as the 11th Review Conference of the Parties to the NPT begins on April 27.
