The China Institute of International Studies released a new report on Monday as the Global Security Initiative marked its fourth anniversary. The report warns that intensifying arms races and rising non-traditional threats are putting strain on the global security landscape. Speaking at the launch of the Report on the Global Security Situation (2025), Peru's Ambassador to China Carlos Vasquez says the continued validity of international law remains the cornerstone of global stability.
