On Tuesday morning, Japan Airlines flights to and from Tokyo Haneda Airport were delayed or canceled due to an air traffic control system failure, impacting 40 flights and about 5,000 passengers by 8 a.m. local time. All Nippon Airways (ANA) also reported nationwide delays and cancellations, involving 12 flights and around 1,200 passengers by 9 a.m. local time.
