Every year, more than 11 million tons of plastic waste end up in our oceans. But across Asia, local governments are stepping up. On April 22, the 55th Earth Day, we're taking you to two cities on the front lines. Beijing has banned plastic bags and promoted biodegradable alternatives. In Malaysia, the state of Penang enforces a "No Plastic Bag" policy, so locals bring their own containers everywhere.
