Mainland reaffirms one-China principle on Lai's canceled trip to Eswatini

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council has reaffirmed the one-China principle in response to questions on the canceled trip to Eswatini by Lai Ching-te, leader of China's Taiwan region. A spokesperson said during a regular press conference on Wednesday that the one-China principle is the will of the people.

In the meantime, the Chinese Foreign Ministry, in referring to Lai, said that anyone who wears a false title is acting against history and will only invite disgrace upon themselves.
