China has selected two Pakistani candidates – Muhammad Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Daud – as part of its first group of foreign astronaut trainees.
After completing training in China, one is expected to fly as a payload specialist, becoming the first non-Chinese astronaut aboard the Tiangong Space Station.
The move marks a milestone in China's human spaceflight program and reflects the country's broader push to expand international cooperation in space.
