Against the clock: Traffic police escort injured worker to hospital in emergency

A worker who accidentally severed his finger during construction in Zhuhai, south China's Guangdong Province, was rushed to the hospital through heavy traffic with the help of local police. Traffic police on motorcycles cleared the way and escorted him to the emergency department. The journey, which would normally take about 20 minutes, was completed in just 8 minutes, saving precious time for his surgery.
