The US Department of War said on Thursday that its forces had intercepted an Iran-linked oil tanker in the Indian Ocean. The vessel named "Majestic X" was reportedly transporting oil from Iran.

"We will continue global maritime enforcement to disrupt illicit networks and interdict vessels providing material support to Iran, wherever they operate," the department said on X.
