Two Pakistani astronauts have arrived in China to take part in training after being selected as the first foreign astronauts for China's manned space program.

The selection process for the first group of foreign astronauts under China's manned space program concluded in early April. Muhammad Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Daud were chosen as the final candidates.

They have now entered the China Astronaut Research and Training Center for training.

After completing all training programs and passing assessments, one of them will join a future mission as a payload specialist, becoming the first foreign astronaut to enter the Chinese space station.
