According to Maoyan, a Chinese film industry data platform, advance ticket sales for new films in the 2026 May Day holiday season have exceeded 15 million yuan ($2.1 million), with "Dear You," "Cold War 1994" and "Vanishing Point" currently occupying the top three spots on the advance ticket sales chart for new films in the May Day season.
