Foreign envoys acknowledge cooperation with China on nuclear technology

Envoys from permanent missions to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna have concluded a week-long visit to China focused on nuclear technology exchanges. During the tour, they expressed recognition of the peaceful use of nuclear technology and highlighted the importance of expanding international collaboration with China in this field.

Over the past week, the delegation visited demonstration projects and cutting-edge innovation facilities and attended the 3rd International Nuclear Technology Application Conference as well as the Nuclear Industry China Expo 2026.

They also witnessed the unveiling of the first global initiative on nuclear technology cooperation, which calls for joint efforts to promote the peaceful and inclusive use of nuclear technology, and to advance a new model of international cooperation grounded in mutual respect, fairness, justice and shared development.
