A 24-year-old cancer patient in Foshan, south China's Guangdong Province, placed a special request through a delivery app, asking for someone to sit by her hospital bed for two hours.

What began as a simple request quickly grew into a wave of kindness, as delivery riders took turns visiting her, bringing gifts, chatting and offering comfort during her treatment. She later said that the compassion of strangers gave her the strength to keep fighting.
