Every minute, enough solid waste to fill a garbage truck is dumped into the sea around the world. Over 85% of it is plastic waste which, when broken down into micro-plastics, enters the food chain, ultimately posing a serious danger to human health. In the face of this global threat, an innovative project in Zhejiang, China, is charting a path towards a solution.
