Stringer dispatch: 12 Palestinians killed in Gaza strikes as families mourn

Global Stringer

Twelve Palestinians, including six police officers, were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza on April 24, Palestinian sources said. Local sources and eyewitnesses said Israeli artillery shelled residential houses near Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

CGTN Stringer visited Khan Younis to capture the aftermath of the attack and interview the families of victims. Ameera Al-Shaer, the mother of 8-year-old Hamdi Al-Shaer, who died in the attack, shared her family's grief: "I wish you would come and see my condition and the shelter. Come and see my children's suffering."
