More than 1,000 firefighters battled two wildfires in Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture, in northern Japan for a fourth straight day as flames spread closer to residential areas. Authorities have issued evacuation orders for about 3,233 people. The blaze has burned around 730 hectares of land and damaged at least eight buildings as of April 25.
