Our Girls director Mike van Diem and makeup artist Heleen Heintjes spoke with CGTN's Zhang Meng at the red carpet of the closing ceremony of the 16th Beijing International Film Festival on April 25, where their film won the Tiantan Award for Best Director.

Van Diem described his film as a gripping story set in the Alps, where two families faced an emotional conflict after an accident involving their daughters. Blending drama, suspense and dark humor, the film kept audiences on edge throughout.
