The Office of the Working Mechanism for Security Review of Foreign Investment under China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has decided to prohibit foreign investment in the acquisition of the artificial intelligence platform Manus, the NDRC said in a notice on Monday.

The move complies with relevant laws and regulations, and the parties involved are required to cancel the transaction, the notice said.
