Installation of the world's largest single-unit 16MW floating offshore wind turbine "Three Gorges Pilot" is underway. Independently developed in China, it is highly integrated technically and located in deep waters off Yangjiang. After starting operation, it is expected to meet the annual electricity demand of about 24,000 households.
