The 9th Digital China Summit is set to open on Wednesday in Fuzhou, east China's Fujian Province, with all preparations for the event completed.
This year's summit places a stronger emphasis on showcasing the latest achievements and technological innovations in the digital sector. The on-site experience area covers 56,000 square meters, with all exhibition layouts finalized.
A new section focusing on AI-driven innovation has been added to the exhibition, alongside other themed zones, including digital intelligence for public benefit, digital technology, digital infrastructure, digital empowerment and specialty areas, including the low-altitude economy.
More than 100 organizations are participating independently, and over 65% of new technologies, products and applications will make their debut at the event.
China's three major telecom operators, namely China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom, will unveil their latest digital applications in both public services and industrial sectors, while leading companies in the industry will present the next-generation domestically produced computing power and data infrastructure solutions.
The summit this year has also set up 65 digital experience points outside the venue, and launched a series of application scenarios for digital cultural tourism, said Xue Bo, head of the summit's preparation work group.
To enhance accessibility during the summit and the upcoming May Day holiday, Fuzhou's subway and bus services will be free for passengers.
