China's largest land port for automobile exports – the Horgos Port in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region – reached a record high of 85,000 commercial vehicles exported in the first quarter of 2026, marking a 13% increase compared to the same period last year.
Nearly 1,000 vehicles pass through daily, heading to countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
New energy vehicles have become the key driver behind this growth.
To maintain this momentum, Horgos customs has introduced around-the-clock clearance services, streamlined inspection processes and enhanced cross-border collaboration.
