Life is your blind box – be the fox you want to be

Foxes are common spirits in many ancient Chinese stories. They can transform into the form that people desire most, which requires understanding human wants. Each successful change moves the fox closer to becoming a nine-tailed fox, one of the powerful spirits. Author Yang Zhi focuses on these fox spirits, telling a story of a young fox spirit meeting different humans.

Hailed as a new legend in Chinese comics, The Little Fox's Tale of Transformation has achieved 20 million views in just seven days. In August 2024, Yang posted the comic on her personal Weibo account, quickly earning 137,000 likes and over 50,000 shares, garnering widespread praise from readers. 

The comic has become extremely popular both domestically and internationally. Its Vietnamese and German editions have been released, and the book was so well received that it went into an urgent reprint just one month after launch.
