China has launched its first cross-sea drone logistics route across the Bohai Strait, linking the cities of Dalian and Qingdao. The route uses a large fixed-wing drone with a maximum takeoff weight of 5.25 tonnes, cutting delivery time to about two hours compared with over eight hours by rail and five to 10 hours by sea.
