Are you travelling in China and looking for something special this Labor Day holiday? Art lovers traveling in China this Labor Day can head to Beijing for Fu Luofei's "Realist Painting and Wartime Art in China," the largest retrospective of the acclaimed artist's work. Running through early July at Taikang Art Museum, the exhibition showcases over 400 pieces spanning the life of Fu Luofei (1897–1971), including his wartime creations.

Fu was the first Chinese artist to participate in the Venice Biennale. Visitors are invited to reflect on history, engage with Fu's vivid portrayals of struggle and resilience, and experience the enduring vitality of his art.
