US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his administration plans to release as much information as possible on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the near future.
He made the remarks at the White House during a meeting with astronauts from the Artemis II mission, noting that a substantial amount of previously undisclosed material would be made public.
Trump had earlier indicated on April 17 that officials reviewing UFO-related records had identified a number of notable documents, with an initial batch expected to be released soon.
In February, citing strong public interest, he directed relevant government agencies to begin declassifying files related to UFOs, unidentified aerial phenomena and the possible existence of extraterrestrial life.
