China uses intelligent robots to manage cotton field

In Shihezi City, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, intelligent agricultural robots are being used for spraying operations in cotton fields. Equipped with multiple sets of vision sensors, the devices can identify plants to achieve precision spraying, reducing the usage of pesticides and fertilizers. In addition, the robots also feature autonomous driving, adaptive wheel track adjustment and foldable spray booms.

Currently, these robots have been deployed on a large scale, covering a cumulative field management area of 200,000 mu (approximately 13,333 hectares).
