In the women's duet technical event, world champions Xu Huiyan and Lin Yanjun topped the standings with 308.2983 points, becoming the only pair to surpass the 300-point mark. Russia's Kira Cherezova and Valentina Gerasimova placed second with 296.9358 points, while Japan's Moe Higa and Tomoka Sato finished third.

In the team technical event, China delivered a routine inspired by the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West". With increased difficulty in its updated choreography, the team scored 304.3592 points to win gold, ahead of Russia in second and Japan in third.

In the women's solo technical competition, Xu Huiyan secured her second gold of the meet with a score of 263.8634. Her routine incorporated elements of classical Chinese poetry and highlighted both technical precision and artistic expression. Belarus' Vasilina Khandoshka finished second with 261.0983, followed by Germany's Klara Bleyer in third.
