Giant Chinese-style chocolate dragon shines in Beijing

00:21

A stunning Chinese dragon art installation at Beijing Chocolate Museum has captured wide attention from visitors. The entire creative artwork was crafted from a total of 22 tons of chocolate. With its body hidden in the wall and head breaking through outward, the dragon presents a powerful, soaring gesture with distinctive Chinese style.

The Chinese dragon embodies thousands of years of Chinese civilization and serves as a key cultural symbol for Chinese people, standing for strength, vitality and good fortune.

Blending sculpture and spray-painting techniques, the work uses white chocolate to recreate the texture of ancient stone. Through repeated cooling and shaping, it forms a rough, age-old surface. The soft, warm texture of white chocolate glimmers like jade in the light, bridging traditional Chinese culture and innovative chocolate art.
