Colombia coal mine blast traps 12 miners

At least 12 miners were trapped after an explosion at a legally operated coal mine in Sutatausa, Cundinamarca, central Colombia, officials said. Authorities said 15 miners were working at the site when the blast occurred, apparently due to a buildup of gas. Three miners escaped on their own, and one was taken to the hospital, while emergency teams were working to reach those still trapped.
