Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday that events in the Strait of Hormuz make it clear that there's no military solution to a political crisis.
In a post on social media platform X, Araghchi said that as talks make progress with Pakistan's efforts, "the US should be wary of being dragged back into a quagmire by ill-wishers. So should the UAE."
On Monday, the US military said it had destroyed six Iranian small boats in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command. Iran later rejected the US claim.
