Iranian media reported on Wednesday that the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement thanking ship captains and owners in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman for complying with regulations governing transit through the Strait of Hormuz and contributing to maritime security in the region.

The statement said that with the end of "threats from aggressors" and in light of new procedures, safe and stable transit through the strait will be possible.
